Vartan & Son: History
The Partnership believes that clients, whether they be Private Clients, Charities, Pension Funds or City Livery Companies, are interested in receiving a service where they can always speak to the same individuals, where there is continual evidence of ‘hands on’ management and where charges are not excessive; this formula continues to be extremely successful. At the outset, the Partnership was fortunate to obtain superb offices located in the Precincts of Peterborough Cathedral but, although the offices may be 14th century, the systems that have been installed are very much of the 21st century. The Partnership was formed under the Model B category, whereby no cash or share certificates are held or retained within the office, and all of the administration and settlement services are completed by Pershing Securities Limited in London. By taking this route, the Partnership has been able to rid itself of a costly back office and this, in turn, has enabled the Partners and Fund Managers to spend more time looking after their clients. In July 2002, the Partnership merged with St Paul’s Square Stockbrokers Ltd in Birmingham. St Paul’s is a boutique brokerage house, and the Directors, whom we have known for many years, share our ideals of providing the highest level of personal service. |
