ANDREW VARTAN, Chartered FCSI, Chief Executive Officer, Co-FounderAfter being educated at Bilton Grange and Millfield School, Andrew joined Buckmaster & Moore in London in 1982. After spending two valuable years training in London and gaining experience of dealing on the old trading floor of the London Stock Exchange, Andrew moved to Peterborough in 1984 where he continued to work as a Fund Manager for Buckmaster and Moore, which later became Credit Suisse Buckmaster and Moore in 1986. In 1989, Charterhouse Tilney acquired the Peterborough office and Andrew was promoted to Associate Director in 1992. In October 1993, Andrew founded Vartan & Son with his father. Andrew is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute, a Freeman of the City of London, and a Member of The Worshipful Company of Glaziers. |

JOHN VARTAN, FCSI, FRSA, Co-FounderAfter being educated at Uppingham and Cambridge University, John started his stockbroking career in 1959. He arrived in Peterborough in 1963 to open his own office and, in October 1993, decided to establish the Partnership of Vartan & Son with his son, Andrew. He was a Member of the London Stock Exchange Council from 1974 to 1979 and Chairman of the Provincial Unit of the London Stock Exchange from 1976 to 1979. John is a Fellow of the Securities Institute. He is a Freeman of the City of London, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a Past Master of The Worshipful Company of Glaziers. John is now semi-retired but still retains strong working links with clients. |

MICHAEL KENYON, Chartered MCSI, MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer)After being educated at Cheltenham College, Michael read Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1992. Michael then changed his intended career and gained some experience in stockbroking with Brewin Dolphin in London. He joined Vartan & Son in March 1994 and became a Partner in January 1998. Michael is responsible for the oversight of the firm’s compliance with all regulatory rules and guidance relating to money laundering. Michael is a Chartered Member of the Securities Institute. |

NATALIE HOWMAN, ACSI, Compliance OfficerAfter being educated at Spalding Grammar School, Natalie joined Pearl Assurance in 1998. Natalie worked there for 9 years with 6 years working as a compliance specialist. In 2008 Natalie joined BNP Paribas in Peterborough where she again worked as a compliance specialist. Natalie joined Vartan & Son in 2010 where she is responsible for all compliance issues relating to the firm and liaises directly with the regulatory body, the Financial Services Authority. Natalie is a member of the Securities Institute. |

ROBIN MORTON, BSc(Hons), Chartered FCSIRobin joined Vartan & Son in May 2001 after attending Oundle School and studying at the University of Warwick, where he gained a degree in Economics. In November 2001, Robin qualified as a Registered Representative and completed the Securities Institute Diploma in June 2004. Robin is responsible for the composition of client reports and is the main liaison officer for solicitor and accountant contacts. Robin is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute. |

PAUL GREAVES, Chartered MCSIPaul rejoined the team in April 2004 after working as a Sales Trader and Market Maker for Investec Investment Bank in London. More recently, Paul has been working as a Discretionary Fund Manager for Barclays Private Clients. Paul has a direct link with an increasing number of Market Makers and Sales Traders in the City. Paul is a Chartered Member of the Securities Institute. |

GEORGE BRUNTON, MCSI, ConsultantGeorge started his stockbroking career in 1959 at Smith Keen and Barnett, based in Birmingham, before spending 27 years at Neville Industrial Securities Limited, an issuing house in Birmingham which specialised in flotations. George became a Director of Fyshe Horton Finney Limited in 1993 and, in 1995, was a founding Director of St Paul’s Square Stockbrokers Limited, based in Birmingham. He began working with Vartan & Son in July 2002. |

ROY ARMITAGE, SIB, Accounts ManagerPreviously a Bank Manager with the Royal Bank of Scotland (formerly Williams & Glyn’s), Roy joined Vartan & Son in 1994 and is now in charge of the Pershing/Vartan reconciliation desk and has overall responsibility for VAT registration, fees and general administration. |

MRS LOUISE FOX, Senior SecretaryLouise joined Vartan & Son as a secretary in November 1999. She is in charge of diaries and meetings, as well as helping with client liaison. Louise is responsible for the production of client Valuations and Reports, and is in charge of office administration. |

MRS NICOLE GROUCOTT, SecretaryNicole joined Vartan & Son in February 1994 as a full time Secretary but now works on a part time basis as she has a young family. Nicole assists the Senior Secretary. |
